The Level Ground Youth Ministry strives to be a safe place which exists to empower youth to establish healthy, Jesus-centered relationships. We are committed to being a welcoming community to all, showing grace to one another and ourselves as we learn to follow Jesus together.

We meet on Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the Youth Room at Level Ground Mennonite Church.
​Youth Grades 6-12 are invited to join us!

Our Wednesday evening gatherings include Bible nights where we learn about biblical themes and discover what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. Bible nights make up 3 Wednesdays a month with the other Wednesday being either a service night or fun event. Highlights from past events are the 90’s themed night with live action Mario kart, 'Finding Frodo' church wide games night, Harry Potter night, and an outing to the local Exit Room. 

We prioritize service in our community as we love whom Jesus loved, and serve others as he served. Our Youth group regularly serves with Union Gospel Mission in preparing and serving meals for those in need in our community. We are also involved in an annual trip to the Okanagan Gleaners where we volunteer for 7 days cutting and processing vegetables which are dehydrated and made into soup mix. This soup mix is then shipped to those in need across the globe. We know that following Jesus isn’t merely about believing, but putting that belief into action as we follow Jesus in transforming this world. 

Level Ground Youth are also connected to other Youth groups within Mennonite Church BC. We join together in various events throughout the year as well as at our annual Impact Youth retreat up at Camp Squeah in Hope, BC.
