Level Ground Mennonite Church exists to be a welcoming community of grace and transformation that connects people to God and one another. Level Ground was formed by the joining of two congregations: Wellspring Christian Fellowship and West Abbotsford Mennonite Church. It began meeting together in September 2008 and officially launched the new congregation in January 2009. Level Ground Mennonite Church is part of a larger family of churches called Mennonite Church BC, who have an
Anabaptist understanding of the Christian faith.  Three key statements that profoundly affect our believing, belonging and behaving are:

​1.  Jesus is the centre of our faith.
2. Community is the centre of our life.
3.  Reconciliation is the centre of our work.
