About LifeBridge

MISSION

As its name suggests Life Bridge Ministries seeks to “bridge the gap” between the Church and the recovery community by providing opportunities for genuine community between the two bodies. Our vision is to see the Church embrace those in recovery as brothers and sisters and for those in recovery to find a loving and supportive family in the local church.

HISTORY

LifeBridge has its beginnings at Level Ground Mennonite Church. Through the combined effort of Dave Rodda and George Schmidt LifeBridge sought to meet the needs of the men once they commenced from Kinghaven Treatment Center. In 2008 Keith St.Jean was brought on board as the director of the new ministry and the vision began to expand to include the women of Peardonville House Treatment center and the recovery community at large in Abbotsford, BC. Our desire is to see this ministry continue to grow and shape how the church relates to those suffering from substance abuse.
